Very suspenseful. I just wish the romance had evolved more slowly. It seemed a little rushed even with the danger surrounding the couple. I also had a concern about a strategy they used to "hide" their identities. It seemed it would work in the short term, but they didn't think about how it would be another identifier once they were discovered.

To begin with, when I requested this book, I just thought the cover was beyond hot. After getting into the book a little bit, I realized it was so much more than that. After reading as much as I have, it is hard to find many books I just can't stand the suspense of putting down, but this book fits that category. You will find yourself rooting for the good guys and wanting the bad guys punished. Of course, it doesn't hurt that a nerdy girl who doesn't realize how pretty she is gets the super hot Billionaire. I love that there was actually a plot to this book besides your typical boy has money, boy meets girl, boy is an asshole, girl is down and out, boy rescues her to get laid, happily ever after.

When I first started this book, it starts off slow enough that I thought I was going to have a hard time getting through it. Then, hoo boy it got good. Real good. I know a lot of people don't like the slow burn and the slow starts. I'm good with them as long as it pays off in the end and the slowness doesn't overtake the book. I was kept just intrigued enough to keep hanging in there and the romantical parts weren't necessarily a slow burn, but more of a simmering. The attraction is there and acknowledged, but considering their roles, nothing can be done about it. Until something can definitely be done about it. While the romance parts I definitely loved, the mysterious parts is what kept this book a keeper for me. There's so many questions while reading the book that has to get answered and I couldn't put the book down until they were answered. While Leigh James is a new for me author I will definitely be checking out the rest of her books. I think I've found a new one to add to my favorites is the rest of her books are anything like this.
