Once you get past the odd cover, the content of the book is very good. The child on the front looks like he has an adult face. The premise of the story reminded me of the pay it forward movement. Very hopeful.

This book takes an all too common theme, namely bullying at school, and deals with it in an unusual way.

It portrays a child who is being harassed, who chooses to write anonymous letters as a way of reaching out to the perpetrator - with unexpected results.

This story has the potential to be an excellent resource for children who are experiencing such behaviour, as well as those who may be witnessing this - or even inflicting such behaviour on others. Worth reading.

As a school counselor, I appreciate the author writing this story and hope to see more along the same lines. These can be adopted for small group work, suggested in school libraries, and used as weekly read-alouds for younger students. The author keeps it very age-appropriate and relatable for children with real-world scenarios included.

As a teacher and counsellor I really appreciated this book. The main character chooses to deal with a situation with kindness rather than aggression and it has a beautiful ending. I found the way that Logan found his people, despite some setbacks that he had to overcome, and brought others along with him beautiful and uplifting. A story for adults as much as kids. I will certainly be sharing it in our sessions.
