Description
When Stewart moves into his remote Norwegian cabin to focus on his writing, he expects peace, quiet, and maybe some snow. What he doesn't expect is Grim—a tiny, sticky-footed troll who insists the cabin technically belongs to him, has eaten half of Stewart's porridge, and is determined to meddle in every aspect of his new tenant's life.
Through adventures involving cross-country skiing, impossible swordfish catches, wild troll parties, and encounters with Norway's magical creatures, Stewart discovers that moving to Norway means embracing an entire magical world he never knew existed.

Trolls, Trouble, and Total Fun
This book is a hilarious, magical romp where a quiet cabin dream turns into pure chaos thanks to one unforgettable tiny troll.
This was such a charming and funny read. It follows Stewart, who moves to a remote cabin in Norway and discovers he has a tiny troll roommate named Grim who steals his porridge and turns his quiet writing retreat into total magical chaos. I loved how the story mixes everyday life with folklore, skiing adventures, strange creatures, and nonstop humor. Grim completely stole the show for me because he is mischievous but weirdly lovable, and I genuinely enjoyed spending time in this snowy, magical world.
I picked this up thinking cozy cabin story and got a sticky footed troll roommate instead
Okay I had way too much fun reading this. Stewart just wants peace and quiet in Norway and instead gets Grim, a tiny troublemaking troll who eats his food, causes chaos, and somehow drags him into the wildest adventures ever. We are talking skiing disasters, magical creatures, ridiculous lies about fish, and the kind of trouble that makes you laugh out loud. I loved how weird and imaginative everything felt while still being about friendship underneath all the madness. If you like funny stories, magical creatures, and total nonsense in the best way, you need this book 📚✨
