I know Mary Nelson personally. I have served with her in Sozo sessions and am a member of Prayer Team 3. Mary is the real deal. She walks the talk. She lives what she writes.
I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with God, in need of any type of healing and to learn more about Jehovah Rapha. You will not be disappointed. Since the chapters are short, it is almost like a devotional. Easy to read a chapter or two and then, do not forget, to pray the prayers at the end of each chapter. You will be blessed.

I have many physical health issues which is why I chose to read this book. I was surprised to see however that mental health issues are also mentioned as they so rarely are.
This book looks at biblical and more modern healings reassuring us that Jehovah-Rapha is the same healing God yesterday, today and forever. The sections start with a short bible reading, then explain what we have read and then a fairly lengthy prayer some of which is from scripture.
This is a valuable asset to those of us who need healing, which according to Nelson is most of us and I highly recommend this book to all, especially those with medical ailments. I look forward to being healed in any of the many ways which are mentioned in this book and if not on earth then in heaven. I was so glad not to feel the onus is on me to have a spiritual and non-medical healing right this very minute as some healers suggest.

I have been reading several books about prayer because of a desire to learn more about it. This book boldly delves into prayer for healing. It left me feeling completely convinced that healing is something that is possible in this day and age. The author, Mary J. Nelson, uses Bible stories, personal stories and testimonies to encourage the reader to believe. The book is broken down into 72 parts each ending with a prayer.
I loved this book, and I highly recommend using this book as a devotional. If used that way, it would give the reader encouragement and help to build faith.
