I'm literally in the shadows of the old man and I know from experience that it is so. One of my favorite cats has died, I'm taking on two other cats that have never met but their owners are married to each other. And I'm taking care of them for 2 months. I cried at the story because I know the feeling. It's a tear jerker for sure.

I loved this story which I read surrounded by my four small dogs, and my long-haired Calico cat, Paisley, who is up there in years.
This is a beautiful story, if occasionally sad, A story of love, of both the people as well as the cats that come into this man's life, over several years. A story of family.
I loved every minute of reading 'A Man and His Cats' and if you love cats, then this is a story you won't want to miss - but you might want to keep some kleenex tissues nearby.
