The title is a touch misleading -- if you are an absolute beginner (as in, starting from zero), this is not the right book for you. But if you only have a little experience and only a few tools, or are a more experienced woodworker looking for projects to share with a beginner who you can guide, this is an excellent book. I really like that there were so many pictures of the process -- it made things clearer and easier to understand, and the photos themselves are beautiful. There is also a good selection of projects.

I won't be recommending this for my library to purchase because of the specific nature of my library. But I will be recommending that other libraries buy it, including the two public libraries in my area, a membership library that I belong to and my undergraduate college's library.
