January 1983: Stewart “Hoagy” Hoag is getting married to the love of his life Merilee at New York City Hall. Hoagy’s college chum, Ezra Spooner, stands up for him. Junior leads what most men would consider a dream life. Who would want to kill Junior Singleton? Plenty of people, as it turns out. Junior’s autopsy reveals that he was HIV-positive, which means any of the women with whom he had unprotected sex have been exposed to the deadly AIDs virus—including the hot-shot realtor Siena Bing who was supposed to be helping them sell the house. And that’s just the start of the suspect list.
