Missing Molly is the kind of thriller that refuses to let you put it down. Molly has rebuilt her life under a new identity as Rachel — a journalist at the very newspaper now launching a podcast to find her. The premise alone is brilliantly tense, and the execution delivers.
The pacing is tight, the dual identity twist keeps you on edge, and the stakes feel deeply personal throughout. Rachel/Molly is a protagonist you root for completely as she hides in plain sight while quietly fighting for justice.
Highly recommend for any fan of psychological thrillers. I still have the ending to go and I’m already giving it five stars.

Wow what a great read this was. Missing Molly completely pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me hooked the whole way through. I love a psychological thriller that has me on the edge of my seat, unable to stop reading even into the early hours of the morning, and this book delivered exactly that. It was gripping, tense, and packed with suspense, with twists that kept me desperate to know what would happen next. This was my first book by Natalie Barelli and it definitely won’t be my last. She created such an addictive story and I flew through it. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this great book.

You don’t often get a front-row seat to someone solving their own murder, and that unique perspective had me completely hooked from the very first page.

This story is packed with corruption, shocking secrets, and twists that keep coming. It explores just how far people are willing to go to protect themselves—and the ones they love. Every chapter pulled me in deeper, and I couldn’t wait to uncover the truth.

Fast-paced, suspenseful, and brilliantly executed, this is a thriller that kept me guessing until the very end.

I read a ridiculous number of thrillers, and at this point it takes a lot for one to make me stop and think, Oh, this is GOOD. Missing Molly did exactly that.

Natalie Barelli has officially become an auto-read author for me. Put her name on the cover and I'm reading it.

I was completely hooked. I kept thinking I knew what was happening. I kept thinking I had figured out where she was going. And then—NOPE. There were actual out-loud “OH. SHE WENT THERE.” moments. I questioned everyone. I changed my mind. I changed it back. Eventually, I quit trying to be smarter than the book and just held on for the ride.

THAT is what I want from a psychological thriller.

This book is addictive without feeling like it's throwing twists at you just for the sake of having twists. The tension keeps building, the questions keep multiplying, and every time I thought I could put it down, I needed one more chapter. I didn't just want to know how it ended—I needed to know.

And probably the biggest endorsement I can give a book: I own a bookstore and read ARCs constantly to curate our monthly subscription boxes. Missing Molly was so good that I selected it as our October Mystery/Thriller subscription box pick. I don't put a book in those boxes unless I genuinely love it and feel confident handing it to my customers and saying, “Trust me. Read this.”

If you love thrillers that make you suspicious of everyone, have you second-guessing yourself, and give you those “WAIT… WHAT?!” moments when everything suddenly shifts—put this one on your TBR. You need to read it.
