This is a great book!
I love that it is short daily readings I can read in the morning while having my coffee before starting the day.
The readings have a great message and provide wonderful thinking points bringing you closer to god.
This is definitely a book I will be buying a hard copy of to read again as a daily morning read.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to view this as an ARC

Oh I needed this book like I needed air for the season of life I am in. Although, my troubles are high right now, anyone can benefit from this devotional. I loved the scripture and the prayers throughout. I think that the author including personal stories really helps the reader apply it to all areas of life.

This is a helpful daily 30 day devotional if you’re looking for topics on hurt and feeling rejected. The author writes based on short verses at the beginning and gives personal experiences. She ends the devotional with prayer. I find a lot of the information encouraging and helpful especially if you’re going through this kind of season. Much of it is anecdotal.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A gorgeous devotional helping us to lean on God through hurt. Each day is complete with a verse, reflection, anecdote, and prayer. This is such a great way to dig into the word.

It doesn’t have to be traumatic to be a hurt or rejection that sticks with us, like divorce, but it could be. Or it could be much smaller like a friend’s rejection or hurtful comments, but all still cause pain. In He's Still Good, Trusting God in the Midst of Hurt and Rejection by Katie Dietz there are 30 devotions that remind us of God’s love, His acceptance and free us to forgive and start healing. I like how this book took me from where I was right then, then gives a Scripture verse with a thought from God, a devotion from her own life, and a prayer helping me to move forward in my Christian walk, my relationship with God and others.
