I enjoy books about Valkyries, and this seemed right up my genre alley, so I requested it. I’m really glad I did. In this book, we meet Anya, who decided many years ago not to be a Valkyrie, and made her home on Earth, or Midgard. When murders start happening around her residence, she has to finally become part of the life around her, and she winds up finding her family. I quite enjoyed this book, and I love that Anya is still good friends with her sister Valkyries and her mother. I didn’t know who the villain was until almost the last moment, which was great. I quite enjoyed this, and I’ll definitely read the next one. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
