The Systems Mindset

This book has been interesting to read. I would recommend it to someone if they had the opportunity to read through it, however I would not run out to purchase it. I feel a lot of the information within could be summarised, and that some of the chapters may have been added in to bolster the content. That is perhaps because of the simplicity of the content, and the fact that some questions answered within explained concepts I already grasped from previous chapters. There is some good, practical advice, however there also seems to be some redundant information and personally opinionated answers that do not necessarily reflect or answer everybody's reality. Pushing these aspects aside, to take purely the basic instructions within and forgetting all the fluff, there is some good practical points made, and the overall Systems Mindset view could create a helpful method to improve aspects of business, home and life under our control. It's just a pity more content, more information and more pages somehow equate to more value. I feel this book could have been edited down and the redundant/repeated information (although I know repetition is a tool used to plant information deeper, it can be tedious) and pictures or diagrams could have been used in place of excess words.
