Apple Kinney is a smart but impressionable girl longing to be appreciated when she meets a dangerous man named Josiah and is sucked into his world. She meets Dahlia and Starr, two teenage girls who live with Josiah in a mobile home park. They drift during the night, moving between strip clubs, seedy motels, and dangerous men. Through it all, Apple becomes fixated on Dahlia, a girl whose looks and reckless behavior fill her with excitement.
