Description

Why do we seek a spiritual path? For Marc A. Crowley, the journey begins in the deserts of Arizona and winds to the rugged Pacific Northwest, a passage from emotional brokenness to luminous spiritual presence.

In Finding My Way, Crowley combines lyrical poems and reflective essays to chart a life lived between loss and revelation—divorce, childhood wounds, and the quiet ache of unmet expectations—while moving toward forgiveness, humility, and the embrace of the Divine.

Through encounters with the elemental world, moments of silence that roar with meaning, and near-death experiences on the Columbia River Bar, Crowley learns to listen to the heart as a wiser guide than intellect alone. Along the way, he discovers that the courage to be vulnerable, the discipline to forgive, and the willingness to step fully into life’s mysteries are the keys to finding a true home for the soul.

Finding My Way is a luminous spiritual memoir for anyone seeking growth, insight, and the transformative power of presence.

Advance Praise

"Finding My Way is a unique collection that combines free verse and lyrical poetry with a strong spiritual and contemplative focus, occasionally blending into prose poetry. Readers who enjoy philosophical reflection will appreciate how the author balances personal experience with broader spiritual questions, never rushing to conclusions. Those who enjoy writers like Mary Oliver will find a similar attentiveness to nature and inward thought, paired with a steady curiosity about life’s larger questions." - Reader's Favorite

"As a whole, Finding My Way offers an encouraging reflection for anyone looking at their life and wondering what comes next. His poems dip into interior everyday concerns as well as existential questions without getting mired in them. Crowley centers the role that quiet faith has in making it through good times and bad without being heavy-handed or preachy. A seamless addition to your TBR pile, poetry fans!" - Independent Book Review
