This was an incredible sequel, continuing plot lines and friendships from the first book with new traumas and insecurities while introducing brand new characters that brought new life to the world we were already introduced to. I really enjoyed the coming-of-age aspect and realizing how much going away to college enriches one’s life, new people to challenge who you are and what you believe new classes to brought in your horizons. I really enjoyed the lecture that emphasized the glasses or the lenses we view the world in and how that can change how people view the same situations and experiences. I loved the new characters that we were introduced to and the slow burn romance and also the slow buildup to the murder mystery that was entangled in the hacking mystery. It was so sad to see who was murdered, but it felt that much more impactful. The book had me second-guessing multiple characters as the culprit and the final reveal was really well done.

This book pulled me in with wanting to know what was going to happen. Having a school setting and a mystery that kept me guessing the whole time.
