Description

Doubt, even mockery toward the Bible, occurs on every front, even from within the family of faith. But many of us have never actually heard answers to the questions that lie beneath the surface. Rhys Stenner’s If In Doubt summarizes accurately and simply the core facts of the Christian faith.

Presented in a pastoral tone, this foundational book covers the grand story of all time, from creation to the forthcoming close of human history and into eternity. In it, readers will find answers to questions like:

Is the Bible reliable?

Did God make the world?

Did Jesus rise from the dead?

Is there life after death?

Rhys Stenner is senior pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia. Originally from the United Kingdom, he attended the London School of Theology and pastored in England and Wales prior to joining New Hope. He and his wife, Louise, have three daughters and live outside Atlanta.

This book took me some time to get through. The concepts were in-depth and clear and concise. I don't believe this to be a book that one could or should get through quickly. It takes some time to let these things settle into your mind and your spirit. I recommend this book and think it would be a good addition to Christians' libraries.
