The book is a great story but it was a little confusing in the beginning. By the end though most of it is explained. What is left is to be told in the next book.

Kenna is a fire element. But she doesn't know it yet. Eric is an air element and is drawn to Kenna. He know what she is and knows he should stay away but can't. And now because of him her element is coming out. He can either help her and risk their lives or let her be taken by another fire element that will destroy her. Can they control their elements and this insane attraction.

This was a really hot paranormal type romance that hooks you in to their story I thought. To me this was a easy read that I was glad to have the chance to read.

Born into Fire mixes an ancient Elemental race with a race of dragon shifters in this interesting erotic romance. There is also a bit of humor too.gotta love the blow jokes lol. if you enjoy reading Paranormal Erotic Fantasy then you will enjoy this book.

Paranormal read book 1 . Hero is Erion . Heroine is Kenna . A great paranormal story . Showing after a Great War the universe divided everything into elements . They couldn't meet till they matured . Erin saw Kenna while she was sleeping . He was in his air Element . He made love to her while he was air . The next day Kenna felt something , she thought she sensed something . Kenna goes into a workshop to make glass . Dragon glass to be exact . Kenna is comfortable with fire since that is her element she is fire . There is another man after Kenna ( he is fire also ) but Erion wants to save her . From the other man and also from himself . But Erion finds out the Kenna is also his soul mate . Great it and see what happens when air and fire mix

An interesting story, to say the least. It was a different concept and I appreciate that. However, there were times when I didn’t understand what was going on. The beginning for instance. I know he controlled air, but the passage itself was hard to grasp. I wasn’t sure that what I was visualizing in my head is what the author intended.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, especially if you are looking for more erotica than story. While there was a plot, and it was fairly interesting, the sex heavily outweighed the story.

I suppose I am biased, however, since this novel was exactly up my alley. I love erotica, and I love stories that involve people who can control elements. Besides witches/warlocks, they are my ultimate favorite paranormals. However, if the author wasn’t skilled, I wouldn’t have enjoyed this story nearly as much. Despite the random scenes I found confusing, it was an enjoyable story.

I read this book ages ago, and then I sold my house and moved. Don't remember much besides that it was ok.

Born of fire by Kyann Waters and Tarah Scott.
A slow but ok read. Not sure about this one. I found it very confusing. It was a easy read and I read it though 3*.

This was one steamy book! While I enjoyed the relationship/sex scenes the plot was a bit lacking. There could have been more world building so that the magical elements made more sense and invested the reader more in the story. I was looking for a quick, sexy read and this book delivered .

A rather interesting and unique book, which leaves the reader hungry for more – here’s to hoping it gets a sequel!

Erion is an air elemental who has accidentally found his mate. But he can’t have her. One, Kenna has no idea of her true nature. And two, she is a fire elemental. If they become one, she’s in grave danger. Too bad his heart doesn’t seem to care, and he can’t stay away for long…

It was quite original, concept-wise. We’ve seen dragons and shapeshifters and all kinds of things in stories up till now, but it’s my first time reading about elementals in human form. I really loved that concept – it reminded me of the D&D genasi race, in a way. The idea of dragons acting as some kind of law enforcers was also quite intriguing, and mixed well with the book’s lore.

Speaking of lore, I rather liked the fact we got to see it through Kenna’s eyes. She knew nothing about the world she truly belonged in, and we got to learn about said world right by her side, without having it dumped on us out of nowhere.

The action scenes were intense, and the stakes were raised really high. Life was not the only thing being threatened during battles – the possibility of one’s will and mere existense vanishing was pretty much real. Even during the love scenes, there was the danger of an elemental losing themselves in their lovers, quite literally, dare I say.

The only thing that sort of bummed me out was that I found a plot hole that confused me – that and the ending, though I’ll talk about the latter in a bit. During the mating ritual, Aiden fought Erion and Kenna winked out, right? But then, in the next chapter, she was right there by his side again. I feel like I missed something, but I don’t exactly know what… As for the ending, it was expected – and a relief because I’m a sucker for happy endings – but not really… happy? I mean, yeah, they’re together, but… Erion still hasn’t recovered his powers. So, is he gonna be a human from now on? How does that work?

I honestly want to read more from this author, especially concerning this storyline. I want to see more about the dragons, and Marshall. I just hope we get another book coming, cause this one was awesome!

This book is good, but starts off confusing and a little more world building would have gone a long way in making this story more enjoyable. Overall, it's an okay quick steamy read.
