Very cute book for kids just learning how to read. I like that it uses consistent sounds throughout the entire book.

Such a cute and interactive little story. I loved the illustrations, very nostalgic, simple and not overstimulating. I really liked that at the end you can go over and learn the words. A great book for kids !! Couldn’t recommend more.

Suitably light-hearted phonetics volume regarding -oat words, with a whimsical drama regarding a goat on a boat on a moat – and indeed a coat on the goat on a boat on a moat. But will the boat on the moat – complete with coated goat – stay afloat? It's for extremely young readers, of course, and serves them well, although the illustrations really are at quite a basic level, and there's absolutely zero mention of a mat.
