The 2 FMC are such badass women that you can’t help but admire. Mare and Diar are AMAZING and so well written. In a world where women aren’t allowed to be anything other than essentially arm candy. These two are thrown into a high coveted and revered role that typically only men held. And even when people started to push back these two never gave up and kept showing everyone why they deserved the role!

The 2 MMC are to DIE FOR! Reese is strong but so stinking mysterious that you aren’t sure if you can trust him or not. Mare has her hands full with that one. And I love it! And Ferris is so funny and always right there to save Diars ass when she needs it. The side characters cannot be ignored either. They all hold such a significant part of the story. I love how they all fit in and have their perfect roles!
