This is a great book for women and girls of all ages. I would suggests that parents of tweens and teens read and discuss the book together as they go but it is appropriate for your teenage daughter. I really like the flow and tone of the book, it really is like having a conversation and coffee with the author. The references are relateable but there is no dumbing-down of the information. I learnt a lot even though I went in thinking I knew all the myths and I think I did pretty okay but the danger and damage of those myths and looking deeply into them was eye-opening. The truths are things we need to teach to our daughters and sons as they grow and mature. Great book.

21 Myths goes way beyond your typical abstinence book. In fact, I would not necessarily recommend it for a pre-teen reader, but it is very well written and covers so many topics. I appreciated the discussion of abortion, the personal stories that were submitted, and the emphasis on the emotional side of sex and promiscuity.

Jennifer Strickland has written the book I wish I had read as a teenager. She ties all aspects of the glorious experience known as sex to sound Biblical teachings, I cannot recommend this book enough and play to share this with my three daughters when they are of age. Thank you, Jennifer!
