I’m done playing nice ever since a famous Mer art critic publicly destroyed my reputation. I’m going to sculpt something so iconic, so undeniable, that no one will ever call me a Mer royal with a cute little hobby again. I just need access to one very specific island.

The island belongs to Jace Pacifica. The most reclusive Mer alive — and for good reason. He faked his death to avoid actually dying, and has been hiding on this deserted Pacific island ever since. The last thing he needs is a Tritone princess showing up and figuring out exactly who he is.

She needs this island to save her career. He needs her gone to save his life. Neither of them planned on the other being impossible to swim away from.
