Modernized Puritan prayers for every need

Prayer seems simple enough, but it is often difficult. We may not know what to say, or we may feel our words are inadequate to express our thoughts and feelings to God.

One of the best ways to revitalize our prayers is to read and pray the words others have prayed before us. With updated prayers for daily life, family, work, spiritual life, brokenness and contrition, and hope for the abundant life that Jesus promised, this collection draws on the works of many Puritan-era thinkers, writers, and preachers, such as
● John Bunyan
● Matthew Henry
● George Whitefield
● Richard Baxter
● and many others

Topically arranged, each prayer is supported by Scripture passages and references, opening the door for the living and active Word of God to become a fresh part of our personal prayer lives.
