This was such a sweet mafia romance! If you've been wanting to dip your toes into the mafia romance world but don't want something super dark or heavy, I think this is a great place to start.
Serena is a single mom to Harper and has been through more than enough with her awful ex-husband. Because of that, she's understandably hesitant to let anyone in again. Then there's Enzo... and he is such a softie when it comes to Serena. He may be a made man, but he is patient, gentle, and willing to meet her where she is. Watching the two of them slowly come together was really enjoyable.
One of my favorite characters had to be Serena's ex-mother-in-law. I loved how she was constantly trying to push Serena and Enzo together, and some of her comments about her own son had me laughing.
My biggest issue was the pacing. At times it felt a little rushed, and I almost felt like I had been dropped into the middle of Serena and Enzo's story instead of getting to experience it from the very beginning. There were a few moments that I wish had been expanded on a little more.
Overall, this was a quick, light mafia romance with a protective hero, a lovable single mom, and enough suspense to keep things interesting. I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to readers looking for a softer introduction to the mafia romance genre.

This mafia bad boy is such a big fat teddy bear when it come this women he secretly in love with. Where do I sign up for one of this tattoo mafia men I’m just saying. I was shocked to see who was behind the event that had taken place but glad as heck that she didn’t let them mess up her happiness. The cover match this couple so good.
