I want to start by saying I read this in 1 day it was that good!
Having previously had the pleasure of reading The Secret Library as an ARC and absolutely loving it, I was thrilled to receive The Friendship Circle as an ARC too. Amanda James has quickly become one of those authors whose books I'll happily pick up because I love her writing style—it always feels warm, engaging, and effortless to read.
The Friendship Circle is another heartfelt and uplifting novel that drew me in from the very beginning. The storyline was the standout for me, unfolding at the perfect pace with plenty of warmth, emotion, and meaningful moments that kept me invested throughout.
Amanda James creates relatable characters and beautifully explores themes of friendship, community, and personal growth. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and can't wait to see what Amanda James writes next.

Eve moves to the coast for a fresh start after her divorce, hoping to find her new, quiet normal. Instead, she finds an amazing and very diverse circle of friends brought together with a little help from a different kind of circle at the bottom of her garden. With the support and guidance of her newfound friendship circle, Eve's life blossoms more than ever.
I thoroughly enjoyed every last page of this book. It was like a warm hug and hot cup of tea but in literary form. However, I couldn't be sad when it was done because everything had reached its natural conclusion and the story felt complete.
