It's a while since I've read a good werewolf story - I got a bit saturated and had to take a step back from the subgenre, but Slip of Fate is a perfect entry point to get back into it. The mythology is strong and interesting, the world-building well-done, with just enough mystery to keep us guessing for a while along with the MC. The werelocks are sexy and intriguing, the MC likeable and realistic, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Slip of Fate starts off very sexy. What’s sexier than two hot brothers licking off your wounds to help you heal? Exactly. I was captivated by the story of an innocent girl, captured and kept hidden from the world she never knew existed. She meets two brothers who were both sexy and have dirty minds. As she comes to know the two brothers, she finds out their overbearing Alpha brother named Alex was coming out to either claim her or kill her.
This book goes on pages to pages of explanation how the brothers are and what they can do. Alex is straight up Alpha male who, made it pretty clear that he wanted nothing to do with her, but to help her heal and figure out everything that is going on. But the more time they spend together, their attraction started to come out to play. With Alex *sshole tendency, bad attitude, rudeness, just to name a few always brought Milena back to reality of hating the guy. The harder she fought not to fall for Alex, the more he fought for her. Will these two find the balance with each other and give love a chance?
This book is a slow burn and end in a cliffhanger. A cliffhanger that will leave readers wanting more. I can’t wait for book 2 and see what Melina can do and where Alex will take her.
