Sadist gave me murder, feminine rage, morally questionable women, an underground vigilante network, and a captor/captive dynamic that very quickly becomes:

WHO exactly should we be worried about here?

Theo is a contract killer with a talent for violence and approximately zero qualifications for healthy conflict resolution.

Naturally, I loved her.

But Octavia is what makes this dynamic so much fun. She refuses to fit neatly into the helpless-hostage role, and watching these two size each other up while the power balance keeps getting increasingly questionable was everything I wanted.

The banter? Excellent.

The dark humor? Perfect.

The chemistry? MA’AM.

I also loved that underneath all the deliciously unhinged sapphic behavior, there’s still revenge, secrets, feminine rage, and enough plot to keep me fully invested outside the romance.

And honestly, my only complaint is that I could have happily spent another 200 pages with these women.

Apparently “sadist meets her match” is exactly the kind of relationship foundation required to earn five stars from me.

Healthy? Absolutely not.

Would I read it again? IMMEDIATELY.
