Reader reviews for The Istanbul Connection:
"Well plotted, well researched and beautifully written."
"I found The Istanbul Connection utterly unputdownable. I thought I would dip into it briefly, and found I read the whole book in one sitting. It is a truly exciting, intricately devised story, set in the Middle East, with echoes of what is going on in that area, right at the moment."
"I'm sure the author has drawn on his own experiences as a BBC reporter, working in the field and undercover, which adds to the authenticity of this thriller. "

Thanks to NetGalley and The Book Guild for the advance copy. All opinions are my own. I love these types of books because they give a sense of history while also mixing fiction in there. Gaddafi’s fall from grace was something to watch and be beholden by. This book took me back to that time when I was watching it on TV. Harry Marks is a journalist who just wants to do his job. Priscilla and Harry’s tensions are marked throughout the book, and they are fun to read about.
