Grab onto your life jacket as you try to solve the mystery of an environmental murder. Amanda although sometimes putting herself in danger, wants to save the family kayak business. In her way are not only the “bad guys” but snakes and alligators in the wild. The environmental piece of this book is excellent and has been carefully researched. The animals and birds living in the estuary add to the setting. There is a little romance and humor thrown to draw thw reader even more deeply into the plot. I look forward to reading more books by Shelley Marsh.

A clean contemporary novel
Y'all! This was soooooo very good that I finished it at 4am and now I've got a book hangover of the very best kind!!
An adventure through the Florida swamp lands "sigh" I absolutely loved this book. Now I wished I hadn't read it so fast!
Lots going on in here. A little bit of everything mixed in. I felt like I was there especially since.I live on the East Coast Florida.
I was glad for this little adventure and new to me author. When I saw the cover I knew I had to read it.
A new to me author and wonderful characters that I enjoyed in getting to know. What's not to love about this story.
I didn't like Melody, Amanda's mom. I didn't like the way she tried to influence her daughter. I wanted to shake her.
I also didn't like the resort or their tourists.
I loved the scenery and more layed back Uncle Jack and his wife.
The mystery is what kept me turning the pages. Some twists and turns of course but that was the exciting part!
If you love a good mystery book this is it and honestly it was the cover that sold me. I love alligators.
I'm giving this story 5 stars simply because I loved the story. I was sad when it ended.
