A stay at a Regency-themed resort goes from romp to romance when faking a pretend courtship stirs up real forbidden feelings.

When offered the chance to work as a history consultant at The Ton, Annie Bryce jumps at the opportunity—and the extension on her visa in the United Kingdom. But there’s a catch. The CEO wants her to go undercover as a guest of the Regency-themed immersive resort to gauge staff performance. To be a spy.

Ben—ahem, Lord Benedict Venable—needs to keep this job. The brooding Irish actor is already on thin ice with management, and his acting career hasn’t exactly taken off the way he hoped. When a chance encounter reveals his new “love interest” is no ordinary attendee, Ben makes the only move he has left and offers her a deal….

Ben won’t expose Annie’s secret to the other actors as long as Annie helps Ben keep his job by faking a pretend courtship for the duration of her stay. But as the resort’s Regency plotlines and pre-written romance make way for tantalizing real feelings, scandalous boundaries start to blur. What’s real? What’s part of the show?
