"Hell hath no
fury......" Natalie Cordova is a victim. Bullied and belittled by
classmates and family alike, she is an outcast. Her life has been a nightmare
from kindergarten through her senior year of high school. Having no friends to
call her own, nor able to seek comfort in her family, she accepts her place in
life; to live and die alone. Dreams mean nothing to her...until she has one;
and within that one dream, she finds her strength. She will no longer merely
deal with her fear, she will use it. As fear turns to anger, anger gives way to
rage, and rage burns into hate; her way forward is clear. In order to end her
suffering, she must end those who caused it. "This is the end. The end of
my pain, the end of my torment, and the end of my past. A past I did not want,
but had forced upon me. Your hatred, abuse, and treatment of me, led me to
this. And while I will burn in hell for this, it was well worth it." -

Very good read. Content is very graphic but a good story line which keeps the reader interested.

Natalie Cordova goes to school every day with dread, hoping that she doesn't come face-to-face with her nemesis, Heather Long. If she can just get through these last few weeks of school, she can go off to college and fulfill her dreams, but her dreams change when she discovers that the clique that has tortured her for years will all be attending the same college that she is. How will Natalie be able to come to terms with the past and move on to a brighter future? This book is a frightening account of bullying that is so spot on that I was in tears at times thinking of what these "mean girls" had done to Natalie and how they had finally pushed her over the edge. I work in a high school and I see the cruelty that girls can display. While I loved this book, I work in a Catholic High School and the violence, descriptive sex acts, and lesbianism would prevent our school from adding this to our library.
