Description

Arthur Holbrook is a kind but lonely man. He has dedicated his life to helping vulnerable kids, but ten-year-old Victoria is pushing every boundary he has. Newly orphaned and resolutely silent, she rejects every hand extended to her. But where others see an untouchable, defiant child, Arthur longs to offer her the stability he needed as a boy growing up in the foster system. Breaking through the emotional walls she has erected is proving to be harder than he ever imagined.

Before Arthur can build a bond with her, Victoria runs away into the freezing winter streets. Joined by his new friend June, his trusty office sidekick Martha, and an unsuspecting taxi driver, Arthur begins to scour the city, determined to find her. But as the unlikely group follows the clues in Victoria’s case file, they uncover shocking secrets about her past—revelations that will alter all of their futures forever, but just might be the Christmas miracle he’s been praying for.
