This is a great devotional book for football fans, whether you're a fan of college or professional. There are 175 short but practical devotions that connect Biblical truths to stories from football players, coaches, or teams. The football stories are very interesting and informational, and the scriptural points are enlightening without being preachy. They tie together nicely. After every fifteenth devotional you will find a profile of a Christian player of recent years, drawn from Barbour Publishing’s Playing with Purpose series. This profile is short, but the quotes from each player are remarkable. There is also a scriptural reference at the end of the book that makes it easy to locate favorite verses. I think this book is an excellent companion to "Football Faith: 52 NFL Stars Reflect on Their Faith" by Rob Maaddi. I would recommend this book to all Christians that also love the game of football. I received this as a free ARC from Barbour Books on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The perfect devotional title for all those football fans out there. Filled with great and uplifting stories in the game of football, each is completed with a verse in the bible and how you can relay that in your own life. Great gift for fathers, sons and sports fans.
