Description
The paranormally gifted Andersen siblings think the Redroux job will be a fairly simple ghost evac. But when they find Ruarke, a hot and bothered, sexy immortal locked in Lady Jessamine Redroux's castle dungeon and discover the existence of a priceless ruby necklace both sides are willing to die for, things start to get a little medieval... and cursed.
Determined to free her sexy warlord-in-chains, Andrina Andersen finds herself immersed in an ancient battle for freedom and power because she's fallen a little in love. But with Jessamine using means both fair and foul to get inside the castle and Ruarke doing everything he can to keep her out while battling his unexpected attraction to Andrina, the Andersens find their paranormal abilities taxed to the limits--to say nothing of their normal ones.
Can the Andersen siblings find a way to free Ruarke and keep the ruby necklace from falling into the hands of evil? With her heart hanging in the balance, can Andrina put her feelings aside long enough to do the job she was paid to do... or will the Redroux curse finally be the damning of them all?

Received through NetGalley for an honest review.
I found this to be refreshing change on a paranormal romance. I read a lot of this type and it is always great to find a story that has a new take on an immortal.
The beginning is slow but starts to get better as you read. At the end you may of guest what will happen. But this is meant to be a happily ever after type of story.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The cover drew me in and the story ended up being an intriguing one with a happily ever after. For my tastes, it was too wordy with the descriptions. I thought the dialogue and overall story was pretty good. If you like romance novels with lots of environment description this is a great read for you.

I loved the Andersen siblings and their constant bickering and banter. The story centres around them and their paranormal talents. Together they help identify and rid clients of ghosts. Yep....ghosts. The first book is the story of Andrina and Ruark. She is a determined and feisty woman and he is an 800 year old immortal with an impossible decision to make. Mystery, romance, ghosts, and a hot immortal....what's not to love?
