Welcome to the Monster Smash Collection, where sapphic monsters will make you scream... if you ask nicely like a good girl.

Nera has been a soul collector for her entire four hundred years of existence. As a reaper, it's her job, her life, and the only thing she finds remotely interesting, until her existence is turned upside down by a soul she can't forget...a nurse who's a little too good at saving lives. The little soul thief is doing what should be impossible and healing the souls Nera is meant to claim which should upset her... but something about the meddling thief has Nera rooting for her despite herself.

High Stakes is a sapphic spicy century long slow-burn romance between a grim reaper and the vampire nurse who's been healing the souls the reaper has been sent to collect. High Stakes is a part of the Monster Smash Novella series where sapphic monsters go bump in the night, and in your dreams.
