The inspiring true story about the global prayer movement that has galvanized millions of Jesus-followers around the world―and the adventure of radical prayer, mission, and justice that continues still.

In the fall of 1999, a small group of young Christians began praying in Chichester, England. From an earthly perspective, what happened next was accidental. From a heavenly perspective, God was preparing to change the world.

Out of that moment came 24-7 Prayer: an international movement of prayer, mission, and justice operating today in more than half the nations on earth. From war-torn cities in Ukraine to the jungles of Papua New Guinea, countless individuals continue to experience the life-changing power and presence of God in prayer rooms, front-line missions, and personal devotions.

This revised edition of the bestselling book about 24-7 Prayer includes updates on the global movement, a new afterword from the author, and a new foreword by author and pastor Tyler Staton.

This is a book to defibrillate the weary soul. As these stories remind us, God has more in store than anything we’ve experienced so far―and he’s calling us to fight with muscles we never even knew we had.
