They were stolen. They were broken. Now, they are Shadowbound.

Once a child of the Light, Gairynzvl now serves as a legionnaire of the Shadowbound, a forsaken warrior forged by torment and molded to destroy the very realm that abandoned him. Yet a flicker of Light endures, buried deep within the darkness consuming him. His only chance at freedom is betrayal. His only hope is Ayla, a gifted empath whose touch reveals the soul beneath his shadowed form.

In Jyndari, a realm where peace is sacred and magic breathes through every leaf and stone, Ayla has always trusted the Light. But when Gairynzvl begins invading her dreams, bleeding sorrow into her sleep, her gifts tether her to a fate that defies everything she’s been taught.

As ancient powers stir and the realm’s childfey vanish, Ayla and Gairynzvl must walk the fragile line between redemption and ruin. Hunted by a monstrous commander and a Shadowbound she-demon losing her grip on her identity, Gairynzvl’s return to the realm of Light may be the beginning of salvation, or the final unraveling of hope.

The Shadowbound is a lyrical, emotionally charged mythic fantasy of darkness, defiance, and forbidden Light. Perfect for fans of The Foxglove King, One Dark Window, and An Enchantment of Ravens. This first volume in The Riftborn Trilogy is a haunting tale of broken souls bound by fate, fighting to reclaim hope in a world unraveling at the seams.
