What happens when the thing a couple want most is not each other?

When identical twins suffer appalling injuries after a car crash, ambitious plastic surgeon Jack Peterson seizes the opportunity to perform the first face transplant in the country. His girlfriend, athlete Emily Robbins, is also driven by ambition to win Olympic gold in the women’s triathlon. Their obsession leaves little space for the compromises demanded by love.

Jack’s newfound celebrity lifestyle intersects with the criminal underbelly of London, and his transplant patient has secrets of his own. Leo is a cocaine dealer embroiled in a gang war.

The circling media threaten to expose Jack’s sexual indiscretions, drug use and links to a gangland murder, while Emily faces a crisis of her own as a long-hidden family secret leaves her undone.

When their ambitions and dreams turn to dust, both are forced to discover who they really are.
