La dolce vita isn’t always as sweet as it seems.

Dolly, Taylor, and Celine met in college and have been best friends for a decade. When they reunite in Lake Como to celebrate their thirtieth birthdays, what starts as a luxurious girls’ trip quickly unravels into a pressure cooker of buried grudges, shocking revelations, and shifting alliances.

• Dolly, the easygoing personal assistant wrestling with insecurities and a toxic romance, may not be there purely to strengthen their bond.
• Celine, the social media darling who’s struggling to keep up appearances while her marriage teeters on the edge, can’t return home fast enough.
• And Taylor, the fiercely ambitious entrepreneur, has orchestrated the lavish trip under the guise of sisterhood, yet her true motives are chillingly calculated.

With the Italian sun beating down, old memories come to light and loyalties are tested, blurring the line between friend and foe. And when a body turns up in the lake, suddenly every smile seems to hide a secret.

Juicy, propulsive, and immensely entertaining, Bad Best Friend is an irresistible, twisty page-turner that shows real friendship means knowing where the bodies are buried—and hoping no one brings a shovel.
