Magic. Time Travel. Tragedy.

Night Shepherd - Greatest Vigilante in the World - protects civilization from threats both domestic and cosmic. From his hidden Shepherd's Cave, he strikes out against all things evil, a Dark Guardian who instills fear in the hearts of all those who wish to do injustice. More myth than man, the breathing pinnacle of humanity, he is the only thing that stands between us and the darkness. Because Night Shepherd is darker than the darkness...

But this time it's different. The great wizard Merlin has hurled the Night Shepherd backwards through history, and he will face his greatest enemy yet: Time itself.

First he is cast into Dark Ages Britain, where he must battle the evil lord Mordred and attempt to save King Arthur and famed Camelot. Then it's to 1969 Vietnam, where an aging CIA agent hopes to redeem his past. Next, Night Shepherd ventures to ancient Byzantium, where chariot racing and supernatural creatures abound. Finally, it's to Civil War era Virginia, and Night Shepherd's adventures will come full circle...

What do we do with the time we are given? And what does it mean to be a superhero in the face of the nightmares of history?
