Description
One by Means of Two explores duality, if not multiplicity, and how we navigate this fluidity in love and family relationships, how we shift roles or partners, how we long to be closer to that magical other, our better self. The poems interrogate the notion of either/or and embrace the ambiguity that comes with living in a world where both might be the ideal option. Each poem is an exploration of how language can be a source of clarity and also a vessel of tension when multiple meanings coexist in a single moment.
A Note From the Publisher
Erin Bedford is the founder and chief editor of Pinhole Poetry Journal and Chapbook Press.

Relevant themes:
The theme of connection with the natural world is relevant to the current climate crisis.
The trending awareness around relational issues on social media corresponds well with a book devoted to examining those relationships that are closest to us with care, compassion, and capacity. The current trending media obsession with headlines, sound bites, and a cursory examination of intricate and controversial content, is relevant to a book that holds space for reflection, contemplation, and compassion.
