In a city where all the superheroes have fallen, who's left to stand against the supervillains?

Ten years ago, the last superhero was killed in Detroit when Blackburn seized control of the city. Since then, the city has been in the clutches of the sinister supervillain.

Harry Hart learned fast that if you don’t watch your back, you end up flat on it. He spends his days in class at the local university. Life isn’t so bad—he hasn’t been harassed by one of Blackburn's sentries in a whole three days.

But when he wakes up with a head full of voices, he discovers he has the power to control other people's minds. With his newfound gift, he must make a decision: flee the city to somewhere safe or become the superhero Detroit needs and take a stand against Blackburn and his cadre of supervillains.

And Harry has never been one to back down from a challenge.
