This book came to me at exactly the right time. As I was reading it I was evaluating friendships and the level of communication... it made me realize that there was something lacking in my relationships with friends and loved ones.

This is an amazing book. It opens your eyes to a whole deeper level of conversation and friendship. We have become so used to the superficial communication via social media or e mail, that we have forgotten what it really means to connect with someone. And I have to admit, as I was reading this book I realized I miss that deeper, true connection with friends and loved ones.

I read this book on my kindle, but I am still a bit old school. While I was reading I wanted to page back and make notes. And, yes, I know you can do all those things with e readers. I just sometimes miss pen and paper. I am going to buy a printed copy of this book, because this is a keeper. One that you want on your bookshelf for when you stray from the path....

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have been waiting for this book! Conversation is what all the books about your words and technology miss! We know the do's and don'ts but most people don't know how to put it all together! Supremely practical and a book I have a feeling I will come back to it again and again! Thanks!

I received a free, electronic copy of this self-help book from Netgalley, Russell Verhey, and Broadstreet Publishing Group in exchange for an honest review. Thank you, for sharing your hard work with me. I appreciate it.

And this book was an eye opener, from page one. Despite my many years, I have never simply sat back and studied the in's and out's of conversation as it wanders through my life. Russell Verhey has - and has shared with us the truisms he has refined from his studied experience. I would recommend this book to anyone in the social services, from pastors to police and everything in between. This is a book I will keep, and read again as needed.
