I really enjoyed this book, it kept me gripped from the first page right through to the last. The plot and characters were interesting, I kept finding myself reading for hours at a time because I didn't want to put it down, I really wanted to know what was coming up next. Would recommend this book.

The first part of the book moves quickly and will peak your interest. After that, it slows and, at times, became very predictable. It is an easy read, some romance, some suspense.

Kayla Hunter has been kidnapped. She's nine months pregnant and gives birth to a beautiful baby boy the same night. Her captors are a man and woman who bring the baby to her several times a day so she can breastfeed him. They keep her well fed and clothed.

She manages to find a way to escape, but her captors have already fled with baby Sam. The police think she killed her baby and concocted this story. She can't identify where she was held.

Only one person believes her and agrees to help her find her son. Houston Homicide Detective Luke Garrett believes her wild story and works hard to find some kind of proof. Bodies seem to fall all around Kayla and Luke realizes that whoever stole her baby is still waiting to kill her.

Luke and Kayla feel a strong attraction to each other, but finding baby Sam is top priority. Who would want this particular baby? And who would want Kayla dead?

This is a nice romantic suspense.... heavier on the suspense than the romance. I liked the characters ... Kayla fighting to stay strong until she finds her son, Luke wanting to do whatever it takes to give her what she wants most ...her son.

Many thanks to the author / The Wild Rose Press / NetGalley who provided a digital copy in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Locked away, drugged and now her baby has been stolen - life for Kayla Hunter isn't looking up as four-six weeks ago she was a happy mum-to-be and getting ready for her newborn son Sam to arrive into the world when she was kidnapped and her baby stolen from her womb. Four weeks after his birth, Sam is taken away and Kayla is left for dead and manages to escape and find refuge with her Aunt whom she hasn't seen or heard from since she was a little girl as Kayla's mother and her sister had a major fall-out. Kayla's Aunt's best friend Rose's nephew is a Policeman - enter Luke who seems like he is the only one believing Kayla's story. Can Luke use his police instincts and connections to help Kayla track down her missing baby Sam especially when the other cops believe she was the one to kill and harm her own child ? As the story goes along, we read as a major conspiracy starts to unravel and as more people turn up dead who could help solve the possibility of where Sam is - Kayla and Luke feel that they will never get Sam back at this rate ? With no family that she knows of out there except for her Aunt as Sam's father is dead , who would want to target Kayla and her baby ? Not to give away the rest of the story , I shall leave you readers with the parting words that Find My Baby was an intense and in some places an intricate web of lies and deceit and conspiracies that hold the readers interest as they flip and read through the pages and like most readers who get involved with the books they are reading - we want only one thing to happen in this book - to make sure Sam is returned back to Kayla safe and sound. If you love thrillers and romantic suspense novels , then check out Find my Baby as you will not be disappointed as Mitzi Pool Bridges's book keeps you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning to the very last page.

Kayla was abducted and gave a birth to a son. After only a month, she lost her son and she was fighting for her life. She barely escapes from a house where she was kept over a month and rescued by good samaritan. She is frantic to find her son and asks for help in police station but nobody in the police station believes her even female detective. Everyone thinks she faults reporting her son.
She finally remembers only family she has who happens to live near enough from police station and she headed to her house. Her aunt greets her in open arms and they start living together. Her aunt’s neighbor’s son happens to be detective Garrett and when he hears the story he believes her and he is willing to help.
Kayla and Garrett start looking into her kidnapping of her son and involves FBI. Garrett’s current homicide case is somehow is tangled and series of homicide are related.
Kayla never put down any roots and all she wanted was to find a place to live long enough to have friends. Now she is getting her wish except her son isn’t there yet. Kayla is strong minded and at times she rushes into things but Garret is there to help her.
There are twist and enough turns until the very end. I enjoyed reading...

I received a copy of Find My Baby by Mitzi Pool Bridges from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was fast paced and action packed from the get go. We start out with every mom's worst nightmare. Kayla is abducted and forced to give birth. When the story starts we see what she's allowed from her captors. Only a little time with her baby to feed him and not much else. Then things are off. Kayla escapes, things go bad and everything changes.

The rest of the book is about Kayla, her friends and family, and the cops trying to find clues about where her baby is and solve the puzzle of all the murders around them. Someone is trying to kill her and she doesn't understand why.

Between all the chaos and the bad, Kayla develops feelings for one of the cops and the feeling is mutual. Kayla and Luke make a good team. They will do everything they can to get baby back. Rules and laws be damned.

I loved the twist of romance in this mystery/suspense. It gave me the feel of hope for Kayla and a happy ending!

My rating: 4/5 stars
