really liked it

Its a buy. I will point out some of the least favorable aspects to be fair but all in all this is an enjoyable read by a new author to me.

While reading I found a lack of some details that would of brought the story to my heart more. However, having said the negative lets focus on the rest.

This is a book written by a very talented writer. There are so many levels of a story line that it was engrossing. I had everything from suspense to pathos, to love, to loss and then romance and a happily ever after. I went through some highs and lows thinking of reality and life as I read. It was a difficult book in some aspects but it has so many high points of life that I sincerely enjoyed the read. I look forward to reading more from this author and can only suggest to buy this book, sit back and enjoy a good read. I was given this book in return for an honest review. Anna Swedenmom

3.5/5. This book by an author new to me is about lovers reuniting after 7 years apart. The hero struggles to reassemble his life after his long forced absence sees him returning to find his parents dead, his estate in ruins, the family business taken over by another and the girl he left behind now a grown independent woman and mother of a young boy bearing his face. While entertaining and moving along at a relatively fast pace, the author fails to reel me in emotionally. The details are lacking both in terms of the events, the setting and the internal dialogues of the characters.
