When Fall Fades is the story of a murder that brought two people together. Charlie, an old man obsessed with conspiracy, is found dead, most likely murdered. FBI Special agent Archer Hayes steps in for the investigation, and that's when he meets Sadie Carson, the girl next door, a young and beautiful hospice nurse who happened to be Charlie's friend and was the one who found him.
As the investigation goes on, the relationship between Archer and Sadie changes. Both of them were dragging many ghosts from their pasts, and both not ready for any kind of distractions! and yet...
I enjoyed the story, it was mostly about both of them. I did not feel that the actual investigation took much space in the story but it was interesting! Archer and Sadie were really funny, despite all that hurt and pain, and it was nice to follow them as they changed.
I also liked that "clin d'oeil" to faith and believing, redemption and hope! It was very nice and heartwarming and i think that's what made the story refreshing.

When a hospice nurse finds an elderly man dead in an automobile it's bad enough but the man's her good friend and his death is ruled suspicious. When the detective in charge consults with her sparks fly but she's still grieving over a missing friend . This was a well written clean read that I would recommend to fans of Christian romantic suspense.

Sweet Sadie Carson has been living in limbo since her world came tumbling down around her five years ago. Even though she feels broken on the inside, she is a force to be reckoned with when push comes to shove (or kick).
Tough as steel, Archer Hayes prides himself on his razor sharp focus and complete dedication to his work. He keeps his distance from any and all distractions, not allowing himself the benefit of friendship or any semblance of a relationship.
This isn't your granny's murder mystery, the vivid storytelling pulls readers into intense situations and steamy temptations. When Fall Fades is going on my all-time favorites list!
