I publish all of my work myself and handle every aspect of the process—writing, editing, typesetting, proofreading, marketing and promotion—because I love it and don't want others muddying my vision. I strive to consistently produce books that are indistinguishable in quality from *anything* published by the major publishers, and my previous works (e.g., my Dakota Stevens Mysteries) show my track record for doing this. At this stage in the process, I'm most interested in garnering reviews, interest and support for Bodaciously True & Totally Awesome from Media Professionals for Feature Articles and Professional Reviews, Social Media Influencers and Podcasters (with large or growing audiences) who can help promote the book (and to whom I can provide engaging content)-, and Independent Booksellers and especially Librarians (I LOVE libraries).
