Our approval preferences include traditional review media and booksellers. For individuals, we prefer bloggers and consumer reviewers with a strong interest in nonfiction. Reviewers requesting ARCs should include in their reviewer profiles URLs for their sites, blogs, Goodreads pages, etc. If there are no URLs provided, or the URLs lead to inactive pages, we are unlikely to approve. Our ARCs are created from uncorrected page proofs as PDF files (finished books and epub files won't be available for a few months, usually). They are best viewed using an Adobe digital editions reader on a PC or Mac. On an android or iOS tablet or smartphone, we suggest using the Bluefire reader app. These ARCs can be opened on Kindle devices, but often display with unusual formatting and errors.
