Beryll and Osiris Brackhaus are a couple currently living their happily ever after in the very heart of Germany, under the stern but loving surveillance of their cat.
Both of them are voracious but picky readers, they love telling stories and drinking tea, good food and the occasional violent movie. Together, they write novels of adventure and friendship, hoping to share a little of their happiness with their readers.
Beryll
An artist by heart, Beryll was writing stories even before she knew what letters were. As easily inspired as she is frustrated, her own work is never good enough (in her eyes). A perfectionist in the best and worst sense of the word at the same time and the driving creative force of the duo.
Osiris
An entertainer and craftsman in his approach to writing, Osiris is the down-to-earth, practical part of the duo. Broadly interested in almost every subject and skill, with a sunny mood and caring personality, he strives to bring the human nature into focus of each of his stories.
We will consider requests from all sources and will approve or decline each request individually.
If the requester is a blogger/online reviewer, we would ask them to:
- have a link to their site listed in their profile
- have their site regularly updated
- offer site content that is somehow related to the book's genre
Booksellers, librarians, educators and media professionals will almost always be approved.
We will also consider reviewers who exclusively post on aggregator sites like LibraryThing or Goodreads.
If your request is appoved and you chose to write a review, please:
- inform us about the review either via NetGalley or directly via osiris@brackhaus.com
- post the review whenever you like, though we would be particularly grateful for very swift reviews (posted before January 2017) or reviews posted close to the publication date (February 15th, 2017).
If you decide not to write a review, we would be grateful for a short note informing us of your decision.
In any case, please do not hesitate to contact us directly if any questions arise, via osiris@brackhaus.com.
