Proudly decolonising bookshelves since 1985, Peepal Tree Press is an award-winning independent publisher specialising in Caribbean and Black British writing. The press publishes around 15 books a year and has over 400 books in print. Prize successes include the Costa Book of the Year Award; the T.S. Eliot Prize; Ondaatje Award; the Casa de la Américas Literary Award; the OCM Bocas Prizes for Caribbean Literature; and the inaugural Jhalak Prize, awarded to Jacob Ross.
