I have to stress the point that this novel is not suitable for readers with strong religious attachments. As for violent material; Yes, there is violence, but it is not as senseless or excessive as you might find in books of similar genre. Now, regarding the sexually explicit content; it is not prevalent at all and mostly soft material. Again, nothing excessive, while in a large part being integral to the flow of the story.
