Logan just found out at twenty four he had a half sister . He had been traveling about thirty seven hours now to get home to meet her Then a hurricane grounded Logan on a Caribbean island and he was grounded for the duration of the storm. He went to the guest desk at the airport and talked to Angelique and she told him to get away from the airport and her brother Remy would drop him off someplace good. Then Logan handed her his business card with a fifty dollar bill wrapped around it and told Angelique to let him know of any plane going anywhere in the continental United States. Then Logan saw someone who looked like familiar and it turned out to be Brooke who had been the captain of the Roosevelt Prep’s cheering squad all grown up. He went to talk to Brooke and she did recognize Logan. Logan had always had a crush on Brooke.Brooke had also had a crush on Logan but neither had known. At one point Brooke and Logan had been great friends and in and out of each other’s houses. Logan runs his family’s foundation.Logan is a disaster recovery specialist. Logan really wants to make a difference. But Logan also faces death, destruction and loss a lot. Logan’s mother was cold and uncaring and he was afraid to let people in, Logan is on call for any disaster to any part of the world His father’s foundation gave aid to smaller disasters that normally do not get international aid. Logan had held onto the belief he had to continuously prove himself and save people in very dangerous situations. Logan eventually realized he had PTSD when he had been a young man and he had overslept and missed the bus as he had been a woman and his friends who had been on the bus ended up missing for three days on a mountain in the Alps but Logan was the one who wouldn’t give up and actually found his friends but he still managed to have survivors guilt for what his friends had went through for those three days. Which means he has casual no strings relationships. Brooke had loved her teaching job but after a student had committed suicide Brooke quit. Brooke offered to share her hotel room and had a one night stand or until the storm abated she would be with Logan. Brooke had been planning on a job and move to North Carolina but the job fell through and Brooke ended up In DC and she had more time with Logan knowing he could be called away at any time. Brooke had been a Home Economics teacher and cheer leading coach.
I loved this story. It was a great read. Some parts of this story definitely made me choke up. I loved how Logan's friends went through so many trials and stages of their lives together as friends. So heartfelt as far as I was concerned . I felt bad Logan had a form Of PTSD even though he is the one that wouldn’t give up and found his friends before they had to spend yet another night on the mountain and they felt he himself had rescued them. I loved Logan and Brooke together two people who had gotten damaged by life and were helping each other to heal and find love. I rooted them on and wanted them to hurry up and tell each other how they felt before they lost each other. I was very happy when they finally opened up about their feelings. Almost like I was there with them. I did however had a vague feeling that the story wasn’t finished but might be just me. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend.

Another amazing book in this series!!

As with the other books in this series, we read about how the bus crash effected another member of the group. Although this was different, because Logan was the one who rescued the group so his experience was different as compared to the rest. We finally learn why Logan travels all over the world helping when a disaster strikes.

Like with some of the other books though, I question the financial reality of some parts of the book. Brooke was a teacher who resigned following a horrible tragedy (one that you're going to want to have a box of tissues nearby when they finally get to the story of what happened) and suddenly quits her job. There's no mention of how she is surviving financially in a huge city like DC. She lives alone and appears to be unemployed but financial worry isn't really mentioned. Many people can barely afford to live alone in DC let alone on only a teacher's salary (even if it is at a private school).

Overall though I loved this book. It was great reading about Logan's reaction to Madison and learning his dad's story of what happened with Madison and her mom.

Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Giving it All is the third book in the Naked Men series, it's the the second one that I've read, and it was as entertaining and enjoyable a read as Naked Men, #2, and gets a 4-star rating from this reader.

If you're just discovering this series, the novel opens with an explanation of who the 5 Naked Men are and how they were bonded as "brothers" during a high school soccer trip in the Italian Alps, where their bus crashed over the side of a mountain. Logan, the hero of this novel, had overslept and missed the bus, but when they didn't arrive at their destination, instead of presuming they'd died, Logan performed an amazing, self-sacrificing, 3-day rescue attempt and never gave up on searching for them until he found and rescued them. Not only did that experience bond them together, it gave Logan the insight that one person can make a difference in the world, and ever since that time, he's made it his life's mission to, with the help of his wealthy family's resources, travel to wherever in the world there'd been a crisis and help save lives, rebuild entire towns, restore access to clean drinking water, as well as find and bury the dead. This obsession to selflessly help others keeps him away from his home in Washington D.C. for many months at a time.

While on his current mission, his 4 friends, who had been blogging together about their lives (including their sex lives) and experiences, became so popular that they turned their blog into a weekly podcast, no holds barred. Since Logan had long been off the radar, when he finally reached civilization and got word that he suddenly had a 24-year-old half-sister, Madison (who was featured in Book #2), he left ahead of schedule to get back home as quickly as possible.

His return journey was hit or miss, no direct flights home, and as he hopscotched his way back, he ended up on the island of Dominica, and who does he spot at the airport but his high school crush and old friend, Brooke, who was captain of the cheerleader team, and whose family had booked her into a luxury vacation resort on the island, to recover from an event I won't give away in this review. When they learn there won't be any flights out because they're right in the path of an approaching hurricane, Brooke, who'd secretly crushed on Logan way back when, agrees to share her suite with him until the storm passes and he can continue his journey home. The attraction between these two is still there and because they're headed in opposite directions, they agree to a one-night, no-strings fling, but as any romance reader knows, it's going to be way more than that, and yes, there will be more than a few bumps in the road.

When the two characters meet up again in D.C., the novel takes a more serious turn, and while their developing relationship is interesting, I'll admit to being less than crazy about the other Naked Men, two of whom have become involved in serious relationships since Logan was last home. As both a woman and a feminist, I found their womanizing proclivities and their pride in bedding so many women more than a little offensive, disrespectful and nasty, unless, of course, the women in question were family members. Since these men are all wealthy, they'll take a woman to bed for a night or two, and then dump her, rewarding her with an expensive pair of shoes or other luxury offering, as payment for her services. Tacky, tacky, tacky!

Thankfully, in this novel, Logan, who already knows he won't be sticking around long before his next rescue mission, is far more up-front with the women in his life, which certainly made him more likable a character than his friends, and as his relationship with Brooke develops, I found his cluelessness about how to actually romance a woman, rather than just bedding her, immature yet somehow strangely endearing. These two characters were about to face long-term, life-altering decisions, and how they meet those challenges was, aside from their idyllic day in Dominica, a truly enjoyable and emotional reading experience.

Although, as I already mentioned, I wasn't terribly fond of the womanizing ways of the Naked Men, I plan to read at least one more novel in this series out of curiosity and in the hopes that Ms. Barth will somehow manage to redeem yet another Naked Man.

I really enjoyed the first two books in The Naked Men series, and this one was just as enjoyable. I will say, I feel like the author has a formula for these books and they seem similar in situations. However, I do like how all the books sort of continue where the other left off and all the characters are in them all. Sometimes it is great to read a series that could be stand alone, but sometimes it is nice to keep going with the story line too. You will remember that The Naked Men is a blog and podcast that group of guys does. This time we learn about Logan, and see as he meets his half sister and also reconnects with a girl from his past.

Bottom Line: This is a great series if you are into the chick lit bordering on romance type novels. You are promised a good love story at least!

Rating: 3/5

Logan is one hot man. He doesn't stay in one place to long. Will Brooke be enough to keep him in one place. Love this series. Loved this couple. Can't wait to read what's next.

If you haven't read the other books in this series, it would be helpful to go and read the last one, to give you an idea about Logan and his half-sister. Logan works in hard to contact areas of the world in disaster relief. The beginning of the book finds him heading home after his friend drops a bomb on him that he has a half-sister. He is stranded in the Dominican Airport in a storm and runs into a friend from high school Brooke. Their story contains many ups and downs, especially as Logan adjusts to the news of his baby half sister.

Enter the Naked Men Brotherhood. Logan is instantly ready to defend his sister’s honor, mistakenly believing that Knox was “doing her wrong.” Only problem is that he decides to address this topic during their LIVE podcast, and as you'd imagine, fisticuffs ensue very quickly.

Throughout the story, Logan’s character really develops as you see his struggles with deciding not to work in the field any longer (though he isn’t given much choice) and how to respect his father after finding out about his sibling. Once again, great Naked Men story and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I LOVE Logan! He is such a great book boyfriend! This was a great friends to more story. I loved the chemistry between Logan and Brooke and really liked the way their relationship developed. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by this author.

Logan Marsh was just YUMMY as some of the other NAKED MEN that we have gotten to know in this series.
When Logan hears the news that he has a half-sister that he knew nothing about he rushes home from the town that he is currently help re-build after a tragedy has struck, but while traveling he gets stranded in Dominica due to a hurricane. But it's not all doom and gloom.....

Brooke Gallagher is a home economic teacher and cheerleading coach at the local high school but she has taken an extended vacation after a tragedy strikes and leaves her devastated. She is heading back to D.C. when she is delayed due to the hurricane things take a turn that she never saw coming.

Brooke and Logan had been best of friends for many years but when they graduated and Logan started traveling to third world countries on behalf of his families foundation the lost the connection they once had. But all that changes when they are both at the same airport delayed for unspecified amount of time.

When they decide to make better use of their time together and go to the room that Brooke had already secured at a beautiful resort things really take off.

At first you think it's going to be a one time only occurrence but you can quickly see that these two are meant to be together. There is some angst so it's not easy sailing for either one of them but there is nothing to far out there that they cannot make it work....well that is if Logan can stay in one place long enough.

This has been an enjoyable series thus far and I look forward to getting to know the other NAKED MEN. Riley's story is up next in Trying it All and I cannot wait to see how this straight arrow of a man takes on the flighty boutique owner Summer.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Christi Barth’s Naked Men series from the start, but Giving It All is myfavorite to date. For some reason I felt that this hero was going to be a tougher nut to crack because the incident that changed them all and bonded them for life was different for him and given that he was MIA during the last two books (for the most part), that told me there was way more going on in his psyche than anyone suspected. I was correct in that assumption and because of that Giving It All was complex, emotional, and the relationship that resulted was deeper from the start making it all the more special.
Logan Marsh will never forget the incident 10 years ago that almost cost him his four best friends or the fact that he was doing something he considered so very selfish when it occurred which is why he has spent the years since college devoting his life to helping others through his family’s foundation. Logan has spent years helping out in the aftermath of disasters worldwide and he treasures every life he’s helped save or make better and he mourns the souls he’s buried. Logan is man enough to admit that while he is gone he misses his dad with whom he has an amazing relationship with and his four best friends, but his job and the time he takes after each mission are necessary for him to be in control of the turmoil he still feels after so many years. On his way home to meet the sister he didn’t know he had, the sister who is now involved with his best friend who Logan knows for a fact is a man wh*re to the max, he is waylaid by a hurricane and runs into Brooke Gallagher, the girl he secretly crushed on all through high school.
Right from the start I loved the easiness that Logan and Brooke had with one another, despite the turmoil raging inside of both of them, reconnecting seemed to give them both something to ease their minds if only a little. It was only supposed to be a tropical fling…but once back in D.C. their lives become quickly intertwined. To say their situation was unique is putting it mildly, they both know Logan will leave again, but neither one of them seems to want to be apart while they are in the same city. Add in pressure from friends and family and their situation gets more complicated by the minute. I enjoyed both these characters a great deal and felt they both did some soul searching and growing during this story. For Brooke it was a matter of accepting that she didn’t fail one person she possibly saved many from a lifetime of horrible memories, but for Logan it was much more. Logan had to come to terms with the fact that he had survivor’s guilt even though his friends survived and even though had the situation been different and he’d been with them, it could have had a far worse outcome. He had pushing people away to keep his feelings and emotions locked tight down to a science, but thankfully he had a whole lot of people who loved him enough to challenge him when we was being stupid.
I love books where characters show growth and also find exactly what they need in their life to make them complete and Giving It All had that along with the witty, fun and often candid dialog the Naked Men are famous for, making this an excellent addition to this series.

We finally get to read Logan's story in "Giving It All", and wow what a great page turner! Logan has always been the missing link and the fifth guy in the 'Naked Men' podcast, and the man that completes a group of friends that have been together most of their lives. Logan spends most of his time overseas following a disaster, working to saving the world the best he can. This is something he has done since the accident that almost took his best friends when they were teenagers. Logan connects again with his high school crush Brooke, on his way home from the latest disaster. Both of them are hiding hurts that they have not been able to deal with. Will they be able to heal each other? Logan and Brooke's story is hot, sexy, emotional, and very touching for two wounded people that will find their way to a HEA. Of course, they will need the help of the rest of the 'Naked Men' and the women who love them. The story is a stand alone and a recommended read. I will say, you are missing some great reading if you haven't read Griff or Knox's stories as well. Thank you to NetGalley and Loveswept for gifting me with "Giving It All" and asking me for my honest opinion. This is mine. 4.75 Stars!

Christi Barth knocked it out of the park again with the Naked Men series. Logan has been the MIA nakes men so far in the series, so it felt like we finally got to see behind the curtain. Logan has been off being a disaster relief specialist around the world. Brooke has had a life altering event they lead them to a chance meeting sitting out a hurricane together at an airport and resort. Can Logan the guy who has itchy feet want to remain stateside with Brooke?

Genre: Romance - Friends to lovers
Stand-alone: Yes (but even better if you read book two first)
Part of a series: Yes - Book 3 of the Naked Men Series
POV: Alternating Logan and Brook
Steam Level: Quite toasty at times
5/5

This book begins only a few weeks after Book 2 (Wanting It All) ends. In it Logan is coming home to meet Madison (who we met in book 2), gets waylaid by a hurricane and meets his best (female) friend from high school. Both agree to a one-night stand but neither can get enough of each other.

What I like about this series is that it showcases a group of five (male) friends which doesn't seem to show up in a lot of books. Usually the Hero's have maybe one or two close friends. The guy in these books are close knit, brought together by common experiences and cemented by tragedy. I love that it's the guys, mostly, who give the advice on love and/or tell Logan that he's being a bone-head. It's a reversal of norms and it's fun and enjoyable.

I also like that Christi Barth's heroines are strong, funny and independant, which I love. When things go bad they acknowledge it and then move forward.

Barth's book, including Giving It All, are fun to read. They're smart and turn norms on their heads. If you haven't read any of her books, I highly recommend them. Especially this series.

I received an advanced copy of this book for free from the author/publisher via NetGalley. I'm voluntarily giving an honest review.

Awesome story and highly entertaining. You do need to have read the previous stories to understand what is going on but that's ok.

Another great Naked Men novel!
Brooke and Logan meet up again in the Dominican after losing touch after high school. He's only passing through but she's there to escape a recent terrible experience. They both end up stranded there through a hurricane.
Circumstances has them meeting up again when they both return to D.C. From there, neither one can seem to get enough of each other. Even though Logan has said he can't stick around and Brooke believes that he won't choose her over his life's persuits, she's hoping somehow he'll change his mind.
Christi does a great job of giving us a peak into Logan's psyche. We get to experience the ACS's accident in high school from his perspective. As he wasn't actually in the accident but was key in finding his friends.
Brooke and Logan's story is sweet and heart-breaking. Can't wait for more!
5 stars!

If anyone hasn’t read “The Naked Men” series, you are missing out on a fabulous and entertaining saga of love stories written by Christi Barth…. of five friends, blood brothers since teenagers, partners in death and life, bachelors who have fallen to their knees in love…and Christi Barth totally rocks these romances.

Third in the series, “Giving It All” has the wanderlust Logan Marsh rethinking his life, putting down roots and reconcile with the surprise that life has thrown at him in the form of a half-sister. With a passion for saving lives and helping in disaster zones, Logan has been around and about. But a chance meeting with his high school crush in the midst of a storm, sure has him longing for roots and a love that has his friends knocked his friends senseless.

Brooke Gallagher cannot believe that fate has thrown Logan Marsh into her path, taking her into a storm of passion and emotions. Going on a vacation to heal from a tragic past, reacquainting with Logan and acting on her feelings since being a teenager seems more like a vacation and a stress buster.

But before they can really think of a future together, Logan has a few things to take care and reconcile with his feelings that Brook comes first than anything else. And Christi Barth does exactly that with amazing clarity and depth as she explores the fears and insecurities, the battle of words and feelings eloquently penned, the chemistry among the Naked Men, so beautifully depicted with unconditional strength and support, and the most important thing of being there in life and death.

The entire series should be read to enjoy these Naked Men, as they open up their hearts and feelings to the outside world, baring themselves to the world of their fears and insecurities, laying the fact that successful and rich men do have their own issues and that life is just one happy place because you have the money.

I am totally hooked line and sinker into the Naked Men, and cannot wait to read the stories of the others as they find the love of their lives.

This series absolutely rocks! I cant quite get enough of the Naked Men!

Oh his way home from yet another mission trip, Logan finds himself stranded on an island during a hurricane and runs into an old high school friend, Brooke. They catch up on old times and both admit to having secret crushes on each other back in high school. They spend one amazing night together and they figure that they'll never run into each other again as she's moving out of the D.C, area.

Plans change and they find themselves spending more and more time together in a friends with benefits arrangement, but soon find things getting more serious than they intended. Can two souls who suffer from guilt find a way to forgive themselves before it's too late?

I have pretty much enjoyed the rest of the series, but this book wasn't as good as the others for me. Logan was an amazing character except when it came to dealing with what happened in Italy years ago. His survivor's guilt was off-putting after a while. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next one.

Naked Men book three, and I have to say I think so far this one is my favorite. Logan is more complex than the other guys, he's not as selfish as some of the others guys seem, in a crazy way he is unselfish to the point of being selfish. Yes it's weird and an oxymoron but he has sacrificed so much to help others and his relationship with his father has suffered for it and his friends rarely get to see him anymore he's always off in some third world country helping them recover after natural disasters. But he's so dead set on helping other people his own life is practically barren but he won't give it up he has to be the one there helping or else it doesn't feel like he's helping at all.

Logan's world has had a monkey wrench thrown in it when he found out about a sister he never knew he had, and rushing back to the states to try and repair the disaster of a first meeting when a hurricane strands him in the Caribbean. Brooke Gallagher needed a break from her life she went for a paradise vacation and got caught in a hurricane. Brooke left her home ec teaching/ cheerleader coach job at the high school after something tragic happened and she could no longer stomach the idea of being on influence on young people's lives and her boyfriend left her because if it. Logan and Brooke were really good friends in high school, they both had crushes on each other but timing was never on their side. But now years later both stranded on a tropical island together during a hurricane they agree to give into the lust.

When they get back to D.C. Logan sticks his foot in his mouth and ends up with a black eye and no desire to stay at the house with the other guys. Brooke is there and offers him her spare room. Even though they both said what happens on the island stays on the island but when they get near each other they can't keep their hands off of each other. Brooke and Logan are trying to work through their own problems but Logan is a great listener and helps Brooke put things in perspective and vise versa, but Logan is a little bit more stubborn and he doesn't want to give up the way he is living to take over the company for his father and not for Brooke either.

Overall, definitely my favorite of the three so far.

Giving It All by Christi Barth is book 3 in the Naked Men Series. I keep expecting one of the ACS’s men to behave as a mature male. Likable as each one is, it just doesn’t happen. Logan stays true to form in that while he is admirable professionally; personally he is still emotionally stunted. I understand that the tragic accident shaped their lives but I agree with Brooke Gallagher whose states that in DC they still live as if they are frat boys; think foul joking insults to each other, food and constant thoughts of sex. It is through the generosity of the author that such fine women are falling in love with for each of them.

Logan has dedicated his life to be the one whose makes a difference. I really liked that about him. Brooke has also reached a tipping point in her life after a much recent tragedy. Logan has much to learn from her. She is a true friend; it is no wonder that this friend reunion becomes so much more. For me, she makes the story. Her defining moment is just as great as Logan’s but she manages to move forward with grace.

Overall, the story is developed and interesting even if it is a bit predictable. My biggest pet peeve with the book, I could gladly live the rest of my life without reading “douchebag” ever again. As a college graduate, wouldn’t Logan know a few more words he could use?
